Keto Salad Recipes

Salads are my go-to keto lunch because they take zero cooking and you can throw one together with whatever is in the fridge. Most salad vegetables are naturally low carb: leafy greens, cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes, olives, mushrooms. Just watch out for carrots and peas, which are higher in carbs than people realize.
Keto salads don’t have to be boring lettuce with ranch, though. I’ve got jalapeño popper salad, taco salad, Greek salad, and fruit salads here too. The key to a satisfying keto salad is enough fat and protein. Add avocado, cheese, nuts, grilled chicken, or a generous pour of olive oil-based dressing and you’ve got a full meal.
