Page 2 of 4Bread is one of the most missed foods on the keto diet. It is also one of the most carb heavy foods. Most breads also contain gluten which is known to cause inflammation and is generally not recommended on the keto diet, especially if you are on this lifestyle for health reasons.
Without using all-purpose flour, bread flour and other gluten containing flours, low carb breads can be quite dense. The gluten proteins in the flours help to from that spongy, squishy, fluffy bread that we dream about.
Luckily, there are a few tricks that you can do to achieve a fluffy, spongy alternative that is gluten-free and tastes like bread.
