Step by Step Instructions
-
Add BBQ sauce, grape jelly and fully cooked cocktail sausages to a slow cooker or saucepan. Stir to combine. Choose the slow-cooker or stovetop method below; do not perform both.
-
For the slow-cooker method, cover and cook on high for about 2–3 hours, until the sausages are hot throughout and reach 165°F. Follow your appliance instructions for fill level. Keep at 140°F or above while serving. This method takes longer than the stovetop time listed in the card.
-
If using an electric multicooker, use its sauté setting with the stovetop method, stirring and adjusting the heat as needed. Do not seal the lid or use the pressure-cook setting with this sauce as written. A pressure-cooker version needs a liquid amount and timing developed for the specific appliance.
-
For the stovetop method, heat the ingredients in a saucepan over medium to medium-low heat. Simmer gently for about 15–20 minutes, stirring regularly, until the sausages reach 165°F and the sauce coats them. Add a small splash of water if it becomes too thick. Keep at 140°F or above while serving.
